Directions: To get to the Hickman Trailhead from U.S. Highway 165 in Ball, go north on U.S. Hwy 165 to Louisiana Highway 3130 and turn right (east). Travel on LA 3130 until it becomes a gravel road. Go left at the Y junction of FR 104 and FR 129 and take FR 129 to the trailhead sign on the left.

To get to the Little Creek Trailhead from U.S. Highway 165 in Ball, take Hwy 165 north to Louisiana Highway 1204 and turn right (east). Go to the end of Hwy 1204, where it will become a gravel road and travel 1/4 mile further to the trailhead on the right (south).

Camp Livingston Trail Complex

Camp Livingston Trail Complex has consists of the Hickman Loop Trail (12.5 miles) and the Little Creek Loop (22.6 miles). These trails are primarily designed for off-road vehicles, but hikers are allowed to utilize these trails as well. Hickman Trail Loop traverses upland pine hills and has vault toilets at the trailhead. The Little Creek Loop Trail surrounds Camp Livingston, is marked by yellow trail markers, and features a hardwood bottomland setting with a few creek crossings.
