Lacassine National Wildlife Refuge

Lacassine National Wildlife Refuge is 34,720 acres of freshwater marsh, bisected by the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway. There is a 3.0 mile loop, driving tour with interpretive signs, similar to the Pintail Wildlife Drive at Cameron Prairie NWR. The network of levees and bridges can also be explored on foot. Check out the Refuge Map above to create a custom hike of anywhere from 0.1 – 10.0 miles.
